There are been many changes proposed. Not all will be adopted, some already rejected, but all constituting a major attack on workers' rights. A quick overview:

1. There was a proposal that small businesses can fire employees that would be otherwise protected by law, such as women on maternity leave.

2. There was also a proposal that small businesses should be required to keep records of time worked - which basically means that people would have trouble with overtime claims.

3. They want doctor's on-call duty not to count as working time.

4. There were proposals to reduce paid vacation time.

5. Proposals have been made to change the percentage of people represented in the workplace to be able to bargain with the management. Currently it is 7% for large national unions and 10% for others. There have been proposals to raise this to as much as 30%.

6. Proposals have been made that would greatly limit the right of people to call strikes.

There are some other things as well, none of which are very good for most workers.
