From the beginning of 20th century, against imperialism and militarism, anarchists of Korea, Japan, and China (particularly east erea) had struggled in solidarity across the borders. In the first stage there was not so clear difference between anarchits and communists, but later anarchists fought against bolshevik very severely.
I don't know why so easily organizations of anarchist broke up after the world war 2 and Korean war (1950-53), not only in North Korea but also South Korea.
