About LibertyFilter.com

LibertyFilter.com allows you to enter the url to any page on the internet, and have it emailed to any email address. That's it.

Why would you want to do this?

Maybe your work, school, or country is blocking the URL you want to visit. Maybe a page won't load properly in your browser, but you just want to read the text. Maybe you want to have a copy archived in your email for future reference.

Stay tuned for an exciting new feature to debut soon -- the ability to email us requests for pages -- get them without even visiting the site!

FAQ

Why are you doing this?

We got tired of trying to visit sites at work and being blocked. Yeah, it's their right to block us, because it's their computer. But they'd occasionally ask us to do some kind of technical stuff, and when we went online to investigate how, the pages would be blocked! Sometimes you just need certain pages.

Maybe your work, school, or country is blocking the URL you want to visit. Maybe a page won't load properly in your browser, but you just want to read the text. Maybe you want to have a copy archived in your email for future reference. All of these things LibertyFilter can help you with, and more.

Won't the webfilters just block LibertyFilter?

We're counting on it. That's why we're developing a way to request pages BY email -- that is, you'd send an email to a special email address we'd set up, and your page would be sent back to you. That's coming very soon.

Won't they just block mail from that address?

The address is Gmail -- they can't block all Gmails, can they? And if they do, we'll just set up a new email. And don't worry, we've got other tricks of our sleeves.

Besides, we can think of other, non-webblock reasons you'd want to have pages sent to your email. We do it all the time, tohave that page archived in our email accounts, so we can search it later. We're also developing a special bookmark -- you would bookmark a page, and LibertyFilter.com would send it to your email. You'd simply set up a filter in your email, and all emails from us would go in a certain folder -- voila, your own personal search engine from pages you've visited.

What about my privacy?

We will never tell anyone what email addresses are requesting what pages. And we're developing a way to have all of that information auto-deleted, in case anyone with a warrant decides they want to start snooping around.

About marketing: If you don't want, you'll never be sent any further emails from LibertyFilter.com or any of our sponsors. Just check the box when you request your page. If you leave it unchecked, don't worry -- no one will know what pages you requested, only what category the page was in. For certain categories -- such as explosives, sex, etc; any records of requests in those categories will automatically be deleted after your page is sent, to protect your privacy and to make it so there's nothing for any government snoops to find if they decide they want to go on a fishing expedition.

Why is the page design so ugly?

Because the person who was in charge of site design was not a very good web designer. But the mechanism that makes LibertyFilter do what it does works perfectly, and that's all that matters.

What happened to the old LibertyFilter?

It went away. Readership went down, and interest in the topic of the old page was waning, so the owner of the site decided to take things in a different direction. He got together some people and came up with this idea, and that's that.

Um, I can't think of any more questions. What do I do now?

Go here, and send yourself a page!
