Today an article called "Living with Fungus and Ice" appeared in one newspaper. http://www.zw.com.pl/artykul/1,443650.html

It talks about how the residents in two buildings on Wilenska St. live and the fact that the city wants to move them all out. One of the points I forgot to mention is that some of the flats on Wilenska St. are communal - meaning 2-3 families put together by the state years ago. Even though many of the flats in the buildings are empty, they do not give people permission to move from the joint apartments to new ones.

The news now is out that 40 buildings in the neighbourhood will be destroyed. At least 2-3 of the buildings on the block of the artistic "experiment" will be destroyed. So even a pointless exercise since they will probably build some yuppie houses there and the neighbourhood will look entirely different.
