On June 6 there was a demonstration for immigrant workers' rights in the Czech Republic. The demo was called to protest increasing police repression against foreigners and bad working conditions for them. There was also a petition handed in to the Ministry of Labour protesting the practice of denying immigrants work permits.

There were speeches made by immigrant workers who described their experiences living in the Czech Republic. There were also some street theatre performances which depicted the experiences of the workers.
