The boycott, which is promoted by demos called “Food not Votes”, is a weekly event in the city’s southern Podgorze district aimed at getting through to residents.

Members of the Anarchist Federation believe that the democracy we see in local towns across Poland is a sham, and want a more direct form of government. Piotr Malinowski from the Krakow branch of the Anarchist Federation talks to Polish Radio about the demos.
