Today a short friendly visit, despite some indigestion, by president G.W.Bush of the USA to Poland. His arrival is planned for 16:20 at the Gdańsk-Rębichowo Airport.
Next he’ll talk with Lech Kaczyński at the presidential residence in Hel. The visit will be accompanied by protests, which we’ll try to relate to you. original source from cia.bzzz.net

* 15.40 - The protestors are using their own bodies to construct the message "GET OUT" so that it should be visible from the helicopter on which Bush should arrive on the spot.

* 15.00 – The demonstrators got through the police cordon by another route and go to the garden [płot] with access to the presidential residence. They can’t get further, so they’re demonstrating on the spot. Music is playing, it’s a picnic type atmosphere. There are still lots of police, who are surrounding the demonstrators from three sides.

* 14.57 – Info from the route to Hel: police cars and about 20 police are still standing behind Władysław [place name], so the blockade is continuing.

* 14.55 – The police are opposite the people marching and are tying to blockade it. The demonstrators are standing and playing sambas.

* 14.40 – the demonstrators are still gathering. The situation has calmed. There are more and more people, because some of those protesting got past the blockades. Now our correpondent estimates that there are about 200 demonstrators. About 10 plainclothes police spies are trying to mix into the demonstration. They have not yet managed to provoke anything. The police are filming the demonstration.
