Poland opens new refugee camp

The center at Przemysl, close to the border with Ukraine, can house 138 immigrants. It was built in a former military barracks at a cost of $4 million; an EU special fund supplied 85 percent of the funding. The Polish government plans to build another three refugee centers.
About 8,000 people are waiting for refugee status in Poland.
