I wonder what the director was trying to prove by claiming that the security guards earn less than cashiers when cashier work is known around Poland to be the shittiest job you can get. If that was true, the security guards should take action.

As to Solidarity, luckily they don't have the same views as were expressed about "losers". When a couple of years ago their head of local Solidarity in Plock was fired, they protested. (I sent info about it on the Polish version of this thread.)
