G8 Solidarity Demos in Poland

Solidarity pickets were held on June 6 in front of the German Embassy in Warsaw and the Consulates in Wroclaw and Szczecin. Demonstrators protested the arrests made during the G8 protest actions, the repressive stance of the state and police and the way that the protests were treated in the media. Another solidarity event will be held on June 8 in Olsztyn.
