Approximately 60 per cent of Slupsk region inhabitants are against the possible deployment of anti-missile shield elements in nearby Redzikowo, northern Poland.
Only 31 per cent would support hosting the American anti-missile shield, some with reserve, according to a poll carried out on commission of the Centre for Civic Initiatives in Slupsk. Redzikowo, a village near Slupsk, is still the unofficial site of the US anti-missile shield. The Polish government is in the process of negotiating the installment with its American counterpart.
