An ugent appeal for support Alternative libertaire faced with an unusual repression
The goal of repression is to silence the social revolts that an unjust society necessarily generates: the revolts of undocumented workers, anti-GMO activists, the November 2005 rioters, anti-CPE strikers. What these struggles have in common is self-evident.

Today, Alternative libertaire is the target of a repression unusual in scope and timing: in less than three (3) weeks, six (6) AL activists have been targeted.

[10.06.2006] Various groups made an action in Taksim Gezi park to protest the prohibition of the demo (by the governorship) that were to be held on Sunday in Kadikoy against the Act of Struggle with Terror [TMY]. To exhibit its reaction against the TMY and laws, Anarchist Block attended to this action that was held in Taksim Gezi Park with its banner of "TERRORIST IS THE ONE WHO OPPRESS NOT THOSE WHO RESIST" and with their black, black/red flags. About the police raid at the collective farm “Novy Put’”(“New Way”)

The collective farm “Novy Put’”(“New Way”) is locatedin village Bochevo, 270 km far from Saint Petersburg in Boksitogorsk District of Leningrad region near the border of Novgorod region, 30 km away from the district center that is Boksitogorsk. The nearest store is situated 10 km far from the farm. The nearby road is not asphalted. The collective farm is an anarchist commune and an ecological settlement.

On April 17th, 2006 at 17 PM approximately the collective farm was visited by three local policemen led by detective-in-chief Petrov.

Equality Parade, Fascism and Repression

The Equality Parade took place on Saturday June 10th in Warsaw. One person is still in arrest and the fascistic Mlodziez Wszechpolska want to charge people with "attacking the public", an outrageous charge considering that an MP from their parent party, League of Polish families incited violence against participants in the gay parade and they themselves have been throwing stones at it for the last couple of years. Occupation of the Ministry of Education

Today Students' Iniative called for a strike. They occupied the Ministry of Education and demanded to meet with the Minister, who they want to resign.

The Minister called a press conference for this time but didn't show up and ran out the back exit instead. Later he said that there was no reason to talk to the students because they were demanding the legalization of narcotics in schools. (Not true.) (Click czytaj dalej)

Students storm the Ministry of Education

Soon after 10 am this morning, about 40 students from the anarchist Students Initiative have stormed the building of the Ministry of Education and burned the effigy of the rightist-conservative minister Roman Giertych. 20 of them managed to remain inside. The students demand the immediate resignation of the minister of education and have organized a walk-out from schools this morning.

Today, May 6, over 100 high school students (and a few others) marched inWarsaw to protest indoctrination in schools. The protest, organized byanarchists and others from Students' Initiative, went to the Sejm and to theMinistry of Education.

Russia: Riot Police and Neo-Nazis Attack Gay Parade in Moscow

The parade in Moscow scheduled for Saturday, May 27 had been banned by the authorities. The gay and lesbian activists decided to march anyway and to go to Alexandrovski Sad, beside the Kremlin, to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a monument which represents Russia's struggle against fascism.

Mister Wierzejski, parlamentarian of the League of Polish Families and former member of the fascist "All-Polish Youth" has urged the minister of internal affairs and the minister of justice (both from the ruling ultra-conservative party Law and Justice (PIS)) to investigate alleged links of organizers of student protests against the new right-wing minister of education with criminal structures of homosexuals and pedophiles.
